We are market leaders in providing protective coatings that can give a 25 year to first maintenance warranty. These are for specialist clients such as National Grid and in conjunction with Invicta Durasteel.

Health & Safety

As a main stream painting contractor, we at Orion take our health and safety in the work place very seriously.


All our operatives are CSCS certified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in painting and decorating.


We are working towards a workforce that is 100% compliant to Site Safety Plus. This is the 1-day Health & Safety Awareness course for operatives. 

All our Supervisors are compliant to SSSTS. The 2-day Supervisors Site Safety Training Scheme. This is now a Construction Industry standard requirement for Supervisors.


Before any work is undertaken. Risk assessments, Method Statements & COSHH details will all be made available.


We also carry out detailed monthly Health & Safety site reports. Or depending on site requirements these reports can be more frequent. All reports and RAMS are carried by our H&S expert Mr. Ray Lane Tech IOSH.

With over 30 years of working in all areas of trade and commerce. Orion Decorating Southeast LTD are at the fore front of all painting and decorating trends.

Education

We have been responsible for the contract painting works to all 3 Medway Town Academies. Strood Academy, Bishop of Rochester Academy and Brompton Academy. All on behalf of BAM Construct UK.


Healthcare

In May 2014 we completed the contract painting works at The Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery. These works were undertaken on behalf of Vinci UK Ltd.


Entertainment

One of our most top-flight projects of recent times has to be the award-winning Events Venue at Bluewater. 

This was a complex job not only from the design and construction but right down to the fine detail of the pairing works.


Sport & Leisure

We are well averse of what it takes to create the correct LRV (light reflection value) in Sports Hall, Gymnasiums and areas where the LRV is crucial for quick reaction sports. We have been responsible for decorating many Sports Halls to British Standard Sporting Colours. 


Ministry of Defence

Works in this sector are currently on going at Duke of York’s Royal Military School, Dover.
